Mapleton Community State of the Schools and Levy Informational Meetings

NO SCHOOL- Waiver Days

Mapleton will be having two waivers this school year for teacher in-services.  Students will have no school on Thursday, September 18th and Friday, February 13th.  Staff should report on these days.

Little Mountie Preschool Enrollment

Mapleton Elementary School has openings for morning and afternoon public preschool sessions.  Preschool children must be 3 or 4 years old to attend.  Please call Mary Walter, secretary, at 419-945-2188 for a preschool application packet.  Openings filled on a first come, first serve basis.  Sliding fee scale available to qualifying families.

Child Find Statement

In an effort to serve young people with disabilities, Mapleton Local Schools is continually in process of locating and evaluating children from birth to 21 years of age who are suspected as having a disability.  Disabilities may include developmental delays, health impairments, autism, and traumatic brain injury.  Individuals may contact local school districts about children who may have a disablilty and may be eligible  for special education services.
