We have recently had a few cases of Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease going through the district. The following information will help prevent the spread of the disease.

Mapleton will be having two waivers this school year for teacher in-services. Students will have no school on
Thursday, September 18th and Friday, February 13th. Staff should report on these days.

In an effort to serve young people with disabilities, Mapleton Local Schools is continually in process of locating and evaluating children from birth to 21 years of age who are suspected as having a disability. Disabilities may include developmental delays, health impairments, autism, and traumatic brain injury. Individuals may contact local school districts about children who may have a disablilty and may be eligible for special education services. District superintendents ahve information available about special educatiobs policies and procedures.procedures in each building by contacting the building Principal.
