Congratulations to Zack Durbin on his second place finish at the state wrestling tournament this weekend. Zack finished his high school career with a record of 182-8. Unofficially, that record ties him for the 23rd most wins in state history, and one of 25 in state history with 110 career pins. Great Job, Zack!
2014 yearbooks can be ordered online now through April 23. Go to www.yearbookforever.com and enter our school name. Cost of the yearbooks is once again $45.00. Namestamping, icons, itags, and plastics covers can be ordered to personalize your yearbook. Senior Congratulatory Messages can also be ordered through this website.

Mandatory baseball practice will be throughout this week at 5:30 to 7:30 pm. There will not be a practice today so guys can support the girls at regionals.
Track and Field
Officially begins on March 10th after school. Athletes will report in Coach Olin's classroom on Monday dressed and ready to go. Be prepared with out door gear as well! See coach Olin with questions.
Practice will be at 3:15 in the High School gym.
Mr. Kidney is selling Art Department T-shirts now through out next Thursday. Stop in his room to sign up for one today. T-shirts are $12 and long sleeve T's are $15 each. Mr. Kidney is now collecting money for t-shirts that have been ordered.
Tryouts are Saturday, March 8th. Practices will be Wednesday March 5th, and Thursday March 6th from 5:30-8:30. The practice for Monday, March 3 has been rescheduled for Tuesday, March 4th.
It is time for you and your family to be completing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). Many post secondary schools and programs have current deadlines or recommend "First-come, first-serve" dates for the FAFSA. If you have any questions, see Mr. Kauffman or Mrs. Long as soon as possible. Senior t-shorts are on sale and will be through March 12th. See Frankie Haupricht to make an order.

There will be a delayed start Monday-Friday for upperclassmen. Freshman must attend at regular time.
Mapleton Local School District will be observing 2 hour delay starts due to teacher in-services the following days are:
October 16 January 22
February 19 May 21
All students should report to school by 10:00 a.m.
In an effort to serve young people with disabilities, Mapleton Local Schools is continually in process of locating and evaluating children from 3 to 21 years of age who are suspected as having a disability. Disabilities may include developmental delays, health impairments, autism, and traumatic brain injury. Individuals may contact the building Principals or Director of Special Services about children suspected as having a disablilty that may qualify for special education services. Information is available about special education policies and procedures in each building by contacting the building Principal.
