Jerry Shank 1975 Alumni
Hi I'm Sue (Shank) Robinson and I was hoping you could possibly help me. All of my family graduated from Mapleton. We are in the process of planning a benefit for my brother Jerry on Aug 2nd at Maple Grove Church to try to help cover some of his extensive medical bills. I am looking for ways to get the word out to the community about the benefit and to gather items for our silent auction.
Jerry was in the Navy for 10 years and contracted Mycobacterium Avian Complex which is an infection that has affected his lungs. They removed 2/3rds of his right lung and he is going in for an experimental surgery on June 4th. This disease has also been found in 1/3rd of his left lung.
Any help you can give us would greatly be appreciated.
